Cor’s (dirty) mind is a joy forever…

Cor is famous for his humor over the last 25 years. His character can also be described by the the Dutch saying “Stille wateren hebben diepe gronden”.

An example of this was his Dr Ruth act and Sinterklaas poem, probably in 1985 (only Cor can tell).

The one-page poem below has funny lines on existing IRC staff: Dick, Michel, Jan Teun, Bettie, Lauren and Christine.

Being a young father in Holland these days
is quite different from what it was in the Sint’s old days.
Paternity leave seem a very attractive thing,
it might give the Sint ideas to change his own way of living…

Cor waited a long time, but at last she was here

Cor waited a long time, but at last she was here,
his beauty from India, so lovely, so dear.
But in August she left again to finish her degree,
So Cor was again bachelor, but not really free.

He’ll be at Schiphol on time this year,
with a new look about him (no mustache, short hair).
We wanted to write more about this boy,
who when writing about others, finds wel wat joy.
But while he is better with his pen than his stem,

Cor comes in before nine o’clock,
Boy oh boy that’s quite a shock!
